Notes about the List
- How to use the list
- When the list is updated each day, check the good stuff marked by *****.
- If you see something you like, click on it to go to the Amazon page.
- Check that the book is still free or cheap. Prices can change.
- "Buy!"
- "Read!"
- If you don't find anything, try the not-so-good stuff that comes after the ***** books.
- Other details about the list
- What do I mean by "good stuff"? Ratings >= 3 and review count >= 50. All books listed for the day has not appeared on my list for the past 7
days. From https://xkcd.com/1098/:
- The fictions and non-fictions are separated into different posts.
However, Amazon categorizes some books like “Wuthering Heights” as
nonfiction.
- Because there is a time lag between immediate
price change and Amazon’s listing update time (hourly), there are gaps
in the listing.
- Only the primary (first) author is listed.
- You can subscribe to the lists by email (see option at the bottom of the page) or by RSS.
- Please leave a comment to let me know of any errors or suggestions.
- How to subscribe to the RSS Feed
- Go to the bottom of the site, click on “Posts,” and select your prefer RSS format.
If you use Google Reader, you will have the following after you subscribed. Note that there are separate entries for fiction and nonfiction (Yes. This site has been around at the time of Google Reader.)
Clicking on the feed with show something similar to the following:
- How to subscribe by email
